Starting in 2025, we introduced a new tiered pricing structure for summer camps.
What Does Paying a Higher Price Level Accomplish?
Every camper’s registration fees are supplemented by generous donations from our churches and individual donors, in order to cover the full price of camp. In a typical year, Camp Tulakadik raises over $100,000 to cover the difference between registration fees and the Camp’s operational costs. With this pricing structure, we hope to direct more of these donated funds toward things like facility improvements and upgrades, new activities and program features, and investing in our staff, so we can offer even more camps and year-round events.
Our goal is to see every child have a life-changing experience at Camp Tulakadik, no matter their financial situation. Your choice to pay at a higher level, or make an additional donation directly to the Camp, improves the quality of programming and impacts the future of the Camp. In the past, registration fees have not covered the full cost of running summer camps at Camp Tulakadik. Each year, we have relied on the generous support of churches and individual donors to cover the true cost of camp.
The true cost of camp includes necessary expenses such as insurance, food, wages for our amazing staff, utilities, facility upkeep, and so much more. We’ve calculated that the true cost is over $700 for a single camper to attend a week of camp.
As a non-profit Christian camp, our mission is to welcome as many campers as possible, while striving to keep the experience affordable for families. To support this mission, we implemented a new pricing structure starting in 2025. Families now choose from three pricing levels that reflect different percentages of the actual cost of camp.
You decide which pricing level works for your family. During registration, simply select the pricing option that fits your circumstances. This will not impact your child’s camp experience, or the attention they receive. Your selection is completely confidential and will only be seen by Camp Tulakadik’s administrative team
Pricing Options:
There are three price levels for all summer camps. All prices include daily tuck (canteen)!
FULL-WEEK PRICES:
- $445+HST – this is our standard price, representing approximately 60% of the full cost per camper.
- $545+HST – approximately 75% of the full cost per camper.
- $650+HST – approximately 90% of the full cost per camper.
TWO-NIGHT CAMP PRICES:
- $200+HST – this is our standard price, representing approximately 60% of the full cost per camper.
- $240+HST – approximately 75% of the full cost per camper.
- $280+HST – approximately 90% of the full cost per camper.
ONE-NIGHT CAMP PRICES:
- $100+HST – this is our standard price, representing approximately 60% of the full cost per camper.
- $125+HST – approximately 75% of the full cost per camper.
- $150+HST – approximately 90% of the full cost per camper.
